The college is spread over five acres in a lush green and pollution-free environment. It has adequate infrastructural facilities to maintain high academic standards. In fact the infrastructure of the college is quite substantial. It includes Arts Block, Computer Science Block, Commerce Block, Science Block, Post Graduate Block, Administrative Block housing Principal’s Office & Office of the Managing Committee. Besides 40 class rooms, there are four air conditioned Computer Labs furnished with 80 computer systems, one new Computer Lab with 40 Computers is under construction, 3 Physics Labs, 2 Chemistry Labs, 1 Home Science Lab, 1 language Lab, 1 Heritage Hall, 1 Seminar Room equipped with multimedia projector, 4 staff rooms, 1 separate news paper reading room for boys, 1 common room for girls, and 3 generator rooms. All class rooms are equipped with modern furniture, black boards, proper lighting etc. The college has a fleet of 12 buses plying on various routes for commutation of students.
S. Dharam Singh Pannu, now a resident of Canada, took the initiative for further growth of the college and created Foreigner’s Development Board with his associates. With liberal financial assistance by the board, the college has recently constructed Baba Gurdit Singh Kamagata Maru Science Block. |
